Sweet Exchange Marriage and Family Therapy, PLLC

Hello, my name is Roseli Godoy-Doty. I am trilingual (English, Portuguese, and Spanish) and own a private practice, Sweet Exchange Marriage and Family Therapy, PLLC, in Denton. My passion is to help individuals, couples, and families struggling with relationship issues. Some of these issues may involve poor communication, self-esteem, stress, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, teen/parent conflict, blended family and step-parenting issues, cultural differences, grief, and other relational problems. I also have a heart for helping individuals who were hurt by legalistic or misrepresented "spiritual counseling." My approach is evidence-based, eclectic, and collaborative. I incorporate Biblical principles upon request. I collaborate with my clients by exploring solutions for their problems, offering different perspectives, and processing traumatic events (I offer ART- sessions for pervasive trauma). When helping couples, I use Gottman’s method. Please know that I will be very honored to be part of your life journey, as I do not take that privilege lightly.
